National Chats for Change
Fostering critical dialogue in health sciences education
About National Chats for Change
Each season we introduce new topics that are designed to spark critical dialogue and generate deeper understanding and insight. We invite all interested members of the broader health sciences community to join us and engage in dialogue so that we can work towards a deeper understanding and contribute our best thinking, knowing that other peoples’ reflections help to improve our thinking rather than impair it, revealing assumptions and biases for self-evaluation.
This Season
Introducing our new series:
React, Reflect, & Resist in a Time of Transition
As we begin this new year, we stand at a crossroads—facing political shifts, global crises, ongoing debates about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and the rise of anti-DEI legislation. These challenges create a pivotal moment in education, society, and health sciences. Despite the uncertainty, there is an opportunity to continue and reimagine our work and communities.
In response to this dynamic landscape, we are excited to introduce the new National Chats for Change Series: React, Reflect, & Resist.
This series provides a space for educators, administrators, students, and healthcare professionals to come together, react to the evolving landscape, reflect on our roles and work, and resist barriers to progress.
