Chats for Change
Fostering critical dialogue at the intersection of medicine, racism, and bias
About Chats for Change
There is a critical need for dialogue focused on racism and all forms of bias. Traditional formats like lectures, grand rounds, and small group learning often fail to create a space for vulnerability, tough questions, and mutual learning. Chats for Change addresses this gap by fostering an environment where all perspectives are welcome, dialogue is valued over debate, and the goal is a deeper understanding of the issues at hand. Participants listen to, challenge, and offer grace to one another. Mount Sinai Chats for Change is open to all members of the school and health system, while National Chats for Change includes health sciences colleagues from across North America.
